Selected Works
Here are some examples of my work! These are all pieces that I choreographed and performed, either live or recorded as dance films.
they and them
Choreographed in partnership with Deanna Woodman, this piece explores the support and care that can be given and received in a relationship between two people who identify as nonbinary. The ways in which there are specific needs, desires, and dynamics that can only exist when there is an unspoken understanding created through shared experience.

You've Just Gotta Laugh
Sometimes things are so upsetting that there's nothing to do but laugh. So, here's a piece about clowns. Absurdity can help point out what defies logic in our everyday lives, and clowning exaggerates the mundane to highlight the strangeness of living.

The Hunt
Inspired by the goddess Artemis and her hunters, who change between human and animal forms as they run through the moonlight, hunting men who have seen them shift. Pulling from movement that invokes witch's circles, hunting rituals, and telling stories around the fire, I hoped to inspire a since of community and wild freedom.
For The Throne
In the Game of Thrones, you win or you die. I choreographed this piece before the release of the final season of the hit show, hoping to celebrate what where two interesting and strong female characters on screen at the time. It didn't age well thematically, but the movement is still fun.

Brother
A resetting of a piece I choreographed in college, I felt that this particular story needed to be told by women of color. It’s a weird time to be alive and a tougher time to be a person of color in America. People need to be active in the lives of those around them. Reach out and make a difference to someone in need. Stand with those who are struggling and stop letting everything be someone else’s problem. It’s both a cry for help and a call to action. Who will stand up for their brother?
Be Kind To My Mind And Body
This video was a physical manifestation of my new year's resolution at the time, "I promise to be kind to my mind and to my body. To take care of myself so that I can do the things I love."
